Hi!
I am Priyanka. I am a designer and researcher with a background that bridges architecture, urban design, and human-centered innovation. My work focuses on understanding how people interact with the built environment and emerging technologies, and how design can create safer, more inclusive, and engaging spaces. I approach each project with curiosity and a belief that cities are living systems shaped by both social and technological forces.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and an MFA in Design Research and Development, with a minor in City and Regional Planning. My academic and professional journey has allowed me to explore topics such as urban safety, socio-technical systems, and speculative urban futures. I enjoy working across disciplines, bringing together insights from design, planning, ecology and technology to imagine solutions that are both practical and visionary.
Currently, I am a Design Researcher at Honda Research Institute’s 99P Labs, where I explore the interaction between human and AI. Beyond research and experimentation, I am passionate about translating ideas into visuals, whether through urban design proposals, world-building frameworks, or interactive prototypes.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that design is about people first. I strive to create environments, both physical and digital, that not only respond to present needs but also anticipate future possibilities.
