Hi! I am Priyanka.
I’m a design strategist and researcher who helps teams turn complexity into clarity.
My work sits at the intersection of design research, strategy, and futures thinking. I use human-centered and participatory methods to understand people, systems, behaviors, and emerging contexts, then translate those insights into frameworks, narratives, and strategic directions that teams can act on.
At Honda Research Institute’s 99P Labs, I’ve explored Human-AI interaction, future learning environments, and workplace strategy. I developed design guidelines for social AI in schools, created a pedagogical framework for future-of-learning concepts, and synthesized research into practical considerations for educators, students, researchers, policymakers, and leadership teams.
I’ve facilitated 40+ co-design and stakeholder sessions with 400+ participants, including global collaborations across the EU, Japan, and the US. In these projects, I’ve helped partners align around complex systems, clarify value flows and dependencies, and shape strategic narratives for future investment.
My graduate work at The Ohio State University focused on participatory-speculative design for inclusive and safe public spaces. Through sessions with 60 participants, I developed a spatio-temporal socio-technical framework for understanding how people perceive safety in public environments, and advocated for its use in shaping more inclusive interventions within the University District community of Columbus, Ohio.
What energizes me most is the messy middle: making sense of ambiguity, building shared understanding, and helping cross-functional teams move from insight to action. I’m especially excited by work across AEC, technology, Human-AI interaction, workplace futures, and future-facing experiences.
